buying runes, when is to much to much?
I see that for example the Major rune of Vigor is MUCH MUCH cheaper in gp when u buy from others than superior, it the thousands of gp really worth the extra 10 pts in health? I mean the 40pts is reasonable in price but the superior is like 30k-60k.
Is one better off saving the funds for other stuff and just get the major runes? How much of a diffrence is the Major and Superior rune of fire? I mean would ones jaw drop if they saw the power of the superior or would the major still do the job? I want the rune of vigor to help offset the health penelty of the fire rune. |

I think the price = to the rarity more in this game then the power of it. People can always sell items at whatever price they want. If I wanted to sell a wood plank for 1P I could.
I can also charge double on a yellow sword then most other ppl...someone will say I am charging too much, but if they really want it they will buy it. If not they can wait for someone else to sell it or negotiate. I think ppl always forget they can try negotiating... For example check out their class and see if you have any runes/upgrades they could use, you don't need them and just fill up space, might as well give those and drop the price and get what you are looking for from him/her at the time. That and the sale of weapons/upgrades in game is a true economy. People sell objects at any given price because there are people who are WILLING to pay it. If people stop buying at XX price, the price will come down to match what consumers are willing to spend.
Want to see the perfect example? Watch what happens to the price of the Celestial Sigil this week when the market is flooded with 3 times the amount. It will drop because supply will help catch up to demand. Haven't heard yet? http://www.guildwars.com/news/gameupdates.html |
